Ban them. They are not a bike. They are an electric motorcycle that doesn’t require a license. It’s a different thing than the use of a walking trail bike trail.

i've seen road 10 speed riders flying down trails going at least 25 to 30 which is dangerous for little kids that are on the trail

I use this bike path all the time. I think the E bikes are fine so long as people follow traffic rules.

It’s not about punishing others it’s about keeping everybody safe and at that speed you can really harm somebody who is walking or on a regular bike. E bikes are increasingly dangerous to pedestrians and the riders themselves. You have to wear a seatbelt to drive a car but you don’t have to wear a helmet to drive an E bike or motorcycle which are 1 million times more dangerous. seatbelts are enforced for our own safety but motorcycles and E bikes riders safety isn’t important. Everything in the state is about money. The rules are sometimes idiotic and they’re just money grabs this one however, is for safety.

It shouldn’t because either way it’s still the same as long as there’s speed limit is pretty bad or they can’t control their speed and they gotta be careful with other people and dogs and pets and kids involve included so it’s the people‘s fault for not paying attention to any of the responsibility and the kids. Actually the kids should be riding it as long as it or in the age to write it.
