@thedogsneedourhelp: 💔 Maebh lost everything because her owner’s circumstances changed. She shouldn’t have to lose her life because of it. This beautiful (almost) 8 year old girl was surrendered after her owner lost his job, had to move, and could no longer provide the lifestyle he felt she deserved.. I promise she would rather be home alone for many hours a day than here. Maebh didn’t do anything wrong. Now she’s sitting in a shelter kennel, crying because she’s so upset and confused about why her person left her here. She honestly sounds like such an amazing dog. Maebh is sweet, cat, dog, and kid friendly, and housebroken. Her owner said she can be a little anxiety prone (this isn’t helping…), but despite being nearly 8 years old, she still has plenty of energy and absolutely loves playing tug-of-war. She is already fully vaxxed, spayed, microchipped, & heartworm negative. Someone could walk into the shelter & take home a dog who is already completely vetted & ready to become part of their family. That’s rare here. She deserves a soft place to land after losing the only home she’s ever known. She deserves someone who will be patient while she adjusts, reassure her that she’s safe, and let her spend her golden years surrounded by love instead of crying alone in a shelter kennel where she can end up losing her life. Please don’t overlook Maebh because she’s almost 8. She’s still playful, loving, energetic, and has many years left. She didn’t deserve to lose her home.
