There are some jobs that hinder going to the gym. While most people, 99.9999999% of people, can go to the gym comfortably within there schedule, some jobs in finance, for example, that require 80-100 hours a week.

Well, I'm 63 so I've been going to the gym longer than you've been alive easily and then some and I will say that a part of lifting does catch up to you, but I still go 4 to 5 times a week at my age. I do love it but lifting if you're not careful and even when you are careful does take a toll on your body, but it doesn't mean you have to stop, but things will change. There's a realism to it and an understanding that you will have aches and pains that will be different every decade after 40 but yes, never let someone tell you you can't do it, but sometimes people stop going, not because they're lazy but because injuries have just beat them down to the point of submission.

I’ve been lifting for over 30 years only missed a MAX of two weeks at one time ever since I started. Not lazy at all. But bro it definitely will catch up with you. It gets harder and harder the older you get and you have more and more injuries or pain the older you get. It’s not a mindset thing it’s a Father Time always wins thing. And that’s not even talking about people who have medical issues.

I’m 42 and I’m already studying exercises I’ll be doing in my 80’s. Like sit and stand squats, pushups, walking my ass off, and all types of low weight movement and flexibility’s

As I've gotten older my discipline for working out and my ambition to get stronger and healthier my workout consistency has gotten way better. Gonna keep going to the gym for the rest of my life fr.
