I find it funny that it’s heavily implies Dragon Blazers is just Deltarune’s entire story. Which means most of the Deltarune cast has literally played Delatrune technically in a way😭

tangent but I love the way that geno and wr parallel each other but interface with the idea of an alternate route in two entirely different ways. in geno, your constantly criticized and mocked by the characters in the story, you're forced to complete annoying grinds and your main reward is difficult boss fights. the end result is the erasure of the world and your undertale copy being permanently tainted; you can never again complete a pacifist route without seeing charas eyes. Comparatively, side b is almost a twisted celebration of glitches and video game secrets. Noelle says many times that she loves seeing the darker, scarier sides of things, sword route guides you to wr, and you have countless opportunities to say you've seen enough and give up on the route. none of the characters look at you and say your terrible person, the game only briefly subjects you to the geno grind in chapter 2, and the closest thing to a sans/undyne the undying fight is the solo Kris fight against spamton. deltarune never tells you to stop, it asks you if you want to proceed. if your own disgust at the mental torment you are subjecting these teens too is seeing what lies beneath the surface. even names, weird route and side b, encapsulate this. it's not an evil route; it's strange. it's not the wrong path, it's the alternate side. srry if this is incomprehensible I just feel strongly abt the player-game meta narrative present in utdr
