I believe there will be a "market crash" 🤗🤫 and so properties will be valued at a lower amt as at 1/7/27 then "WOW" a property BOOM.....more CGT under the new system for the govt 🤔🤔🤔

I don’t understand. Does that mean future growth is taxed at 50% and value up to 2027 is at half of the gain up to 2027. If that is the case I will not invest in this country anymore.

Lease explain that the valuation needs to be by a licensed valuer … NOT a real estate agent valuation.

Just pick a June 2027 value that is a bit higher than what it probably was. The ATO are going to have millions of June 2027 asset estimations, they can't audit even a tiny fraction of them. Only pay for an actual valuation if there are other reasons you might be flagged for an audit.

The ramifications are as follows: Get all your capital liquid, expense everything you can out, start a company in Dubai or Malaysia for example and then send over a massive consultancy invoice here every month until your money is all off shore. Do all your share trading and investing from the offshore company, keep the Australian company on a shoe string budget or close it down all together. It is NOT worth doing business in Australia anymore, there is no incentive to achieve here what so ever. When these communist bastards get booted out we are still in for 10 years of recovery. Whats the cost of a Trillion Dollar National debt ? Its 91 Billion a year - near twice the NDIS budget.
