Apple pie If you’re looking for an easy and delicious apple pie for this year’s Thanksgiving feast, this is going to be the perfect recipe for you! d’EATS -4 Granny Smith apples peeled and diced -1/3 cup brown sugar -1/3 cup granulated sugar -1/4 cup all purpose flour -1 & 1/2 tsp cinnamon how to: Start by adding your peeled and diced apples to a bowl along with your brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Mixed to combined and set aside for 30 minutes. Grab a 9 inch pie dish and place one piecrust on the bottom of your dish add in your apple pie filling without the excess juices on the bottom, then top with your other piecrust. Brush your top piecrust with an egg wash. Sprinkle granulated sugar on top and cut an X in the center. Bake on 400F for 25 minutes then turn the temperature down to 350F and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Allow this to cool for at least three hours or overnight.
