yes, mortgage, credit cards, auto, delinquencies of all sorts, and foreclosures are going way up. I noticed better prices in viewers today, but not gas. I suspect they have to lower prices as demand destruction is setting in. Ai bubble, housing, private credit bubbles are cracking, severe recession incoming within a year.

I like to fact check (not that I don’t believe you, I think your content is great) and not only does the 25% check out but it says 43% if you look at a two year period. 😳

During COVID the automotive industry decided to raise car prices while the country was sick, they raised prices 25%, a small inexpensive car went from $19k to $23-25k, now with trump tariffs that same car 🚗 is now $32k and we're talking lower end vehicles a truck now costs $100k, Jeeps $110k with average payment being $767 for 7 years not 5 years. We have not factored in insurance, gas, food, mortgage or rent.

Sales of new cars are declining and inflation and tariffs are making it difficult for car buyers to buy new cars and even used vehicles

this has been trending up for years now. In 2024 it was record breaking but no one wanted to talk about it then because Biden "saved" the economy. truth is we have a bunch of people that overpaid for vehicles during the pandemic. since then the automakers have put ridiculous prices on vehicles that are not really practical. so people are now doing 7-year and even 8 year loans. you don't have to be a financial analyst to realize when you purchase a used vehicle and finance it for 8 years that you will at one point encounter repair bills that are worth more than the vehicle is worth. so what do people do? they let the repo Man come.
