I have compared Ren to Shakespeare. As a huge Prince fan myself, I mentioned Prince would have found his unique and honest playing (no filters as it were) as a talented individual. There are times in our lives when such a person as Ren stops you in your tracks and you know you are listening to something/someone quire remarkable.
