none of that will fix it blowing hot air. the float switch will not let the system come on. tripped breaker will not let it come on to blow hot air. none of these are fixes. they are points to look if there's no power to unit and control panel .

make sure your furnace filter is clean. dirty filters restrict air flow causing a unit to freeze ip.

these are valid checks, but the point of a tech is to find why these things failed. tripped breaker. why did it trip. blown fuse. why did it blow? float switch. is it a clogged drain or a failing switch? do not fuck with capacitors they hold power even with the power off.

Clean the outside unit with gentle pressure. If it’s dirty, the compressor can get hot and trip the thermal shut off

Capacitor 80 too 90% of the time. it Almost looks like a short silver can of coke. Take screw driver and touch the leads to stabilize the charge that's on that capacitor......it will shock you.
