I don’t normally record videos when I feel like this. Normally, when you see me on here, I’m in a good headspace. I’ve been out walking, I’m feeling positive, and I’ve got something encouraging I want to say. The last couple of days haven’t been like that. I’ve felt low. A bit anxious. I’ve been overthinking things, questioning things and, if I’m honest, just not really feeling like myself. And today I nearly didn’t record anything. But then I thought maybe this is the bit we don’t show enough. This isn’t me looking for sympathy. It’s more about awareness — and showing the other side of what you normally see online. We’re very good at posting ourselves when we’re smiling, motivated, doing well and feeling strong. We’re not always as quick to show the days when we’re quiet, flat, fed up or just trying to get through the day. So this is me today. No advice. No big motivational speech. No pretending I’ve got everything figured out. Just a reminder that the person telling you to keep going sometimes has to remind himself to keep going too. I know myself well enough now to know that these periods come and go. I’ve been here before, and I know I’ll come out the other side of it. But while I’m here, I thought it was important to show it. Because maybe somebody watching this is feeling exactly the same and thinks they’re the only one. You’re not. Life isn’t always sunshine and flowers. Sometimes you’re just a bit low. Sometimes you don’t even know why. And sometimes the best thing you can do is give yourself a bit of space, stop putting so much pressure on yourself and get through today. A bad chapter doesn’t define the whole story. There are plenty more chapters to write yet. It’s okay to not be okay!. #support #advice #fyp #keepgoing #betterdays
