A Ghanaian pastor who identified himself as *Apostle Daniel Adjei* has made very offensive and dangerous statements against our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. In a video circulating online, he allegedly said: *"Prophet Muhammad was never a prophet, he came to do the work of a pornstar" and "Muhammad is a porn star, he is not a prophet" - Astaghfirullah.* This is not freedom of speech. This is *religious hate speech, insulting, and incitement.* This kind of talk is very offensive to over 8 million Muslims in Ghana and can cause serious religious conflict in our peaceful country. I love Prophet Muhammad (SAW) more than my life, but I am NOT calling on any Muslim youth to attack this pastor. I am calling on the LAW to do its work. That is the difference between us. Ghana is a secular but peaceful country. Our laws protect all religions. Under the laws of Ghana, publishing insulting words with the intent to offend religious sensibilities is a crime. We have seen what religious insults can cause in other countries. We do not want it in Ghana. *So I am appealing to:* 1. *The Ghana Police Service* 2. *The IGP* 3. *The National Peace Council* Please invite or arrest Apostle Daniel Adjei, investigate this video, and let the law take its course. If we can arrest people who insult Christianity, we must also arrest people who insult Islam. The law must be equal. To my fellow Muslims: Please remain calm. Do not take the law into your own hands. Do not insult Jesus Christ in return. Let us show that we are people of peace and law. Share this video until it reaches the Police. To my Christian brothers and sisters: Please help us condemn this pastor. He does not represent you. Just as we condemned the Islamic leader who called for killing, we expect you to also condemn this insult against our Prophet. Let's protect Ghana's peace.
