Funny how life works… I posted this video just before I met my wife in July 2024. The message on the screen said, “Your timing is perfect.” At that point, one of my biggest dreams was to find my person. Not just a relationship, but a healthy relationship. Real love. Someone I could build a life with. And there’s something even deeper about this video. That’s my sister Christine with me. She was also there with me back in 2012 when I thought I was about to get married. Instead, I experienced one of the biggest rejections of my life. The person I thought I would marry said no. Rejection can be redirection. The person who rejects you. The opportunity that disappears. The relationship that ends. The plan that completely falls apart. Sometimes it isn’t life working against you. Sometimes it’s life clearing the road for something you couldn’t see yet. 12 years after that rejection, I met the woman who would become my wife. So if something hasn’t worked out the way you wanted it to, don’t give up on your life because of one chapter. Keep healing. Keep growing. Keep believing. ❤️ One day you might look back at the rejection that broke your heart and realize… Thank God that didn’t work out.
