I'll communicate prior and say my standard is ABC. then sit and watch how the dude behaves then evaluate whether the behavior meets my standard. this thing of telling a man 123 hurt me like they don't know, is bad and can lead to over-functioning. you become a relationship police. nobody likes the police.
