Not gonna lie even with the phone call being recorded you still should’ve turned down the job bro.. you can still be liable because in the eyes of the court, you’re the professional and expected to refuse any work that could put the customer in danger… this is why you can’t just walk in to any shop and ask for your brake lines to be cut.
