@nourishingapothecary: When you first hear that little cough starting, they’re complaining their throat hurts, or you can tell they’re coming down with something, this is when I like to get onto supportive care. Two products I really like from the Kiwiherb children’s range are: 🌿 Kiwiherb Children’s Organic Cough Syrup This is specifically formulated for children’s coughs, with a blend of herbs traditionally used to soothe the respiratory tract and support coughs, particularly when they’re irritating or spasmodic. 🌿 Kiwiherb Children’s Throat Syrup This is the one I like when a sore, scratchy or irritated throat starts. It also contains echinacea, traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support immune function. And here’s a little naturopath tip about echinacea: if you notice that characteristic tingling sensation in the mouth, that can actually be a sign of good-quality echinacea. It comes from active compounds called alkylamides. The Kiwiherb children’s range has different dosing instructions depending on your child’s age, so always follow the directions on the individual product. Of course, we’re talking about your everyday coughs and sore throats here. If your child has difficulty breathing, is significantly unwell, unusually lethargic, dehydrated, has a persistent or worsening cough, or you’re concerned, please have them medically assessed. 🛒 You can find Kiwiherb Children’s Organic Cough Syrup and Kiwiherb Children’s Throat Syrup at nourishingapothecary.com.au 📞 And if your child seems to be constantly getting sick, book a FREE discovery call with Lainie, our Children’s Health Naturopath, through our website to discuss how we may be able to support them. #kidscough #cough #sorethroat #kidshealth #childrenshealth

We would love some decongestant recommendations please, my kids are 5 and 7.5 years old. It’s the blocked and snotty noses that really gets to them, usually we use saline nasal sprays but is there anything else you’d recommend? 🤷♀️nasal congestion always leads to ear infections, my 5 year old has already had one lot of grommets, trying to avoid needing more 😪

If you are putting this through a PEG will the child still have the same benefits if it’s not going down the throat to support sore throat and cough?
