And in an active person, eating enough carbs can support insulin sensitivity, because their muscles are actually using that fuel. So when we say that

It does nothing good for your body. If you're lean and active, your body can handle a small amount without much harm. But loading up on it while carrying extra weight is one of the most direct paths to insulin resistance The internet loves an extreme. Carbs are evil, or carbs are totally fine. Reality doesn't work that way. There are many nuances to health and wellness because everyone’s body is different.
