I’m so sorry for your loss, this should never have to happen to anyone, when I was 5 my next door neighbor and I where riding bikes and he fell into a sewage hole, he was paralyzed from the neck down and died about a month later, it’s a notice to everyone that no matter how safe people say it is around you, there are still dangers that lurk in every corner, rip my friend Ryan and rip to your brother mason, may he rest in peace

I am so sorry babe , please stop blaming yourself it’s NOT your fault genuinely it’s not . You did EVERYTHING you could to save him and I’m sure he died knowing you did your fucking best to save him & he wouldn’t want you living with this guilt. Trust me I get it I blamed myself for my parents death even though cancer took my dad and kidney failure took my mom . I still blamed myself because I felt I could have saved them knowing I couldn’t. I mostly blamed myself for my mom’s death because they say stress causes the blood pressure to go high and that can cause the kidneys to fail quicker. I know i added to her stress and us ending up homeless after my dad died . When she died I was sleep she died sitting on the toilet I had been up til 3 am taking care of her she had randomly sicker throwing up pooping everywhere she kept wanting something cold to drink . When she finally felt better to sleep . I remember looking at her and telling her I left two cold bottles of water for her and said I’m going to bed I love you but I knew in my gut when I woke up she’d be dead I even texted my PNC saying I have a gut feeling my mom is gonna be dead when I wake up… little did I know my gut was right she had been dead for over 5 hours and rigor mirtos set in and her head couldn’t be put straight since she died and her head was leaning over
