@catieosaurus: y'all are blowing my mind with the way you've been responding. I wrote this book thinking that like maybe if I was lucky we'd sell 100 copies and it's been a best-seller and is getting translated to literally a dozen languages. i never expected any of this, and I am so grateful. #adhdtiktok #adhdinwomen #adhdcommunity #neurodivergentwomen #adhdrelationships
Thank you. For everything. For when merely existing feels like a Frankenstein's monster of life hacks stitched to meds. I catch my son singing, "It's not silly if it makes your life easier," and I'm so happy he knows that far sooner than I did.

I am one year post stroke and about 6 months post Hashimoto's hypothyroidism diagnosis. The intersection of these with AuDHD and PTSD leaves me feeling like I am in constant management mode. Still working on systemizing my house
This post helped tremendously. That I am not alone ❤️

I listened to this five times and slowly began to cry. Sometimes this type of pain is almost indescribable to others. I’ve read these words from the page but somehow you reading them makes me simultaneously break inside and heal all in the same moment. Thank you for every word.

I’m a wheelchair user due to my disability. Recently I had cellulitis and a fractured femur and a bad uti. I’ve been home for 2 weeks from the hospital, pt is coming in to do exercises and transfers 2xs a week. My husband has had to step up to help me and I hate it and he’s getting frustrated. I’m so overwhelmed. Oh and I also have adhd…. This temporary situation seems never ending and I’m over it.

I didn't realize this book would resonate on this level. I might need to double down on working toward getting a copy.

ADHD with chronic injury or pain… maybe caused by hypermobilty should be a support group… is it? Cause sometimes I feel so alone in the trauma of it.

This. Is so close to how I live my life. Thank you for being one of the first people to tell me it was ok to do this for myself, and congratulations on having the opportunity and the ability to tell so many others.

I know the book has only been released recently but is there plans for paperback versions? I have a hardcover copy because I couldn't wait but I prefer softcovers

I’m no doctor, and I don’t know the cause of your back pain. I am, however, all too familiar with extreme sciatica from herniated discs. Months and months of chiropractors and physical therapy did nothing but make the problem worse while my left heel felt like I was constantly in a downward thrust onto a LEGO on a hard floor. The lightning in my hip and leg was nothing compared to that. It was as down to the knee on my right side. The medicine that helped me was flying out to Arizona, pushing through the pain, and clocking 8 miles a day hiking on mountainous terrain. When I flew home after 5 days, I had no pain and needed no meds. Now I know when it gets bad, it’s time to book a trip to anywhere with hills and hike like my life depends on it. Because it does. I wouldn’t have lasted long with that much pain.

I could have written most of this myself. 43 and disabled. It's so hard to explain to people most days.
