The black tea cuts through the sweetness while Sprite’s lemon-lime flavour turns it into this fizzy, citrusy iced tea situation. WHAT YOU NEED: • 1 L Sprite • 4–5 black tea bags • 1 fresh lemon • Ice **For a 2 L bottle: use 8–10 tea bags. ✨ WHAT TEA? A strong Ceylon or English Breakfast black tea works beautifully. Lipton is commonly used for this hack, but I used Ahmad English Breakfast (which has a blend of Assam, Ceylon & Kenyan black teas) and it worked quite well. ✨ HOW TO MAKE IT: 1. Cut the labels and strings off your tea bags. 2. Carefully push the tea bags into the Sprite one at a time. WARNING: it WILL fizz up as you add them! Give the foam a few seconds to settle between each bag so you don’t end up with Sprite all over your counter. 😂 3. Screw the cap back on and refrigerate overnight to cold steep. 4. The next day, carefully remove the tea bags and pour over LOTS of ice. 5. Finish with plenty of fresh lemon slices - don’t skip them! 🍋 💡 Sprite is preferred because its bright lemon-lime flavour pairs especially well with black tea, but 7UP works in a pinch. The result?
