I completely understand what you mean and I do agree, but I think most of the time when somebody gets accused of being a larper it isn’t rlly because of gender but rather because they say stuff like “Messi rigged the WC” or something along the lines accusing Messi and Argentina of cheating when it just blatantly isn’t true.

I got called a larper when I first joined figure skating fandom, then larper again when I started watching F1, and now that I'm into football too, it's the same shit again. I've noticed a pattern from that, If it's a man, they'll say "welcome to the club!" if it's a woman, they get called "Larpers" 😒
