I knew this would happen. I am done with mid summer. They are a lot of fun but the crowds, the heat inside and outside, the over priced food, and the same exhibits is exhausting. You can catch most of those vendors online or at other open free LA events. Its fun to see everyone but not worth it anymore. Parking will soon be $30 watch

Could not even walk inside , people pushing everywhere. Bought 2 sandwiches 2 drinks and it was $70.. couldn’t even enjoy the mazes every line was over 1 hr long and every time we wanted to get in line, they would close it and tell us to come back in 40 minutes, we come back and they tell us the same thing over and over again..

It’s a general rule of thumb that you shouldn’t buy food at cons. They’re always gonna be expensive because they expect people to buy their food at any price due to the convenience of them being inside the con. My trick is to eat a decent breakfast. Pack any energy bars or other snacks. Bring water. Then take a break from the con to eat somewhere else. never ever pay those crazy prices for con food. Most of the time, it doesn’t taste good anyway. Few options too. You’ll either get a salad, a sandwich, or a bunch of bad fried food.

They really need to move to a bigger venue. It was the same last year. Also, I was working at handing out wristbands. When it was time for lunch they told me to keep the wristbands with me despite me saying I was leaving the property. Good thing I’m honest because I could have went off and sold them

so if you’re trying to get in right at opening, it will take you almost an hour to get in. if you go in an hr after opening, the lines are super long inside. its a choose your battle kinda deal. but i feel like the crowds inside are a lot for this small ass convention center. and it being around for 10 years, i think its time to get slightly bigger place

Yesterday I got there at 9 a.m. to wait in line, and we didn't get in until 11. I just took one quick walk around and headed straight back home... everything was incredibly expensive, it was sweltering inside, and a lot of people weren't wearing deodorant... it was disgusting.
