My mum thought she was infertile, got pregnant by my dad and thought she “better marry him”. She bought the dress, and when she decided that actually she wasn’t going to marry someone she didn’t like, took the dress back, cried and said he’d been killed in the army so she could get her money back 💀 the woman is a savage 😂

My dads ex is my classmates mom. Her mom broke up with my dad cause he had to leave the country. I later learned thru my classmate that my dad wrote her mom a letter before she got married. At our graduation, they saw each other again. My classmate and I both know of our parent’s lore and we call each other sis 😅

My Mom wanted to stop her wedding to her first husband but she felt a lot of pressure to go ahead with it because of all the expense. It was one of those big 8 bridesmaid, announced in the newspaper, beautiful big dress kinds of deals. She went ahead but they got divorced (and she was Catholic!) a couple years later. Always better to risk embarrassment than to have to divorce afterwards. ♥️
