The 10% niacinamide has helped my skin so much, ive been using it for years. Its not for everyone, its for oily skin. So I think it needs a caveat rather than a blanket 'no one use it'. Its perfect for oily skin

I always say this to people asking for higher percentages of niacinamide! 5% is more than enough and using more can actually compromise your skin barrier as it’s slowing down the oil/sebum transfer in the skin, which your skin needs to keep hydrated!
