@hammeredmaniac: Shadow has Sonic pinned during their fight after Sonic hits a nerve by calling out the fact that Shadow cares more than he wants to admit 😹✌️ ──────── This isn’t a sonadow post but you can interpret that way if you’d like!!! ──────── I wanted to draw a scene that focused more on the emotional side of Sonic and Shadow’s rivalry rather than just a normal fight scene. I love the idea that Sonic’s biggest strength against Shadow isn’t always his speed, but the fact that he can see right through him and call him out when nobody else will. I tried to make the pose feel tense and personal, with Shadow looking like he’s completely losing his patience while Sonic is still being annoyingly confident because he knows he got under his skin.
