@savinggorillas: We have some happy news from the Mutobo group: female Kubana gave birth on July 27, bringing the group to 18 gorillas! 💛 Kubana is also the mother of 5-year-old Mubyeyi, who now lives in Dushishoze’s group. She transferred to Mutobo's group in February 2024. Sadly, last year she lost an infant only a few weeks after birth, making this new arrival especially joyful. We wish Kubana and her newborn all the best. With six other infants already in the group, this little one will certainly have plenty of playmates! 📸 Winnie Eckardt
