by the way, Vault 88 is bigger than Spectacle Island, it's just more winding than a flat island

The down side of Vault 88 is that it comes with it's own build set that works totally different than all the other build sets in the game and not in a good way. You can still access all the other build sets but it's a frustrating limit of potential.

I hope if they bring back the settlement mechanic we get more things like trade deals and border disputes. Imagine youve set up these settlements and they're annoyed with each other, you try to pick a stance that benefits both. unfortunately raiders or the brotherhood or another big faction attack the settlements and wipe both of them out or severely cripple one to the point where you have to force resources from the others or relocate all the citizens.

Build capacity can also be fixed without mods just simply dropping guns on the ground and storing them in build mode the build capacity storage clears up

The Vigilante :

Personally the Nuka World red rocket is better than the normal one. Despite having to beat the entire dlc for it, it makes up for that with an insanely tall build height and lots and lots of land for farming and building. You also need to power on nuka world not just claim all the other parks

you can glitch the build limit downwards by scrapping guns in the settlement

spectacle island can be taken without a single shot fired. from red rocket I go directly to the island to make industrial purifiers to sell water

You can actually skip the fight at spectacle island it is the second easiest one to get after red rocket
