That looks good. I'm in Alabama and my chicken casserole has cooked rice, rotisserie chicken, a can of mixed veggies, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, a little chicken stock, cream cheese, seasonings (whatever my ancestors tell me to add), topped with shredded cheese and a melted butter crushed Ritz mixture. The only thing I measure out in this whole recipe, is the appropriate amount of rice I want. Lol.

It is delicious, but when my mother made it, she would use chicken legs and put it under the stuffing, but it is also great like that as well

This is delish! I was raised on this but broccoli was added. I recommend if you like broccoli add it.

I like the stove top stuffing Best, the only difference is I mix the chicken with the soup and sour cream mixture. Then put it on the bottom. Yours looks good though.

I’ve had many variations of chicken casserole over the years, but not this way! My granddaughter loves Stove Top stuffing, so I’m gonna have to make this version for her! 💕💕

This is similar to the one I make, except I don’t put cheese in mine and I substitute cream of mushroom. It’s a classic favorite.

We always used rice instead of the stuffing mix. Ours was more of a chicken and rice casserole. But the rest of the ingredients were very similar.

I use mixed vegetables and dice the chicken mix it all with the cream of chicken and sourcream I do not use any broth after it is hot I top with cheese and fried onions
