A Gentleman’s Poetry :
Without any regret I spent over 2 years helping my ex put the pieces back together of her traumas and toxic past. Was there in ways that all dream about. Believed in her when she didn’t herself. My unconditional loving actions and words finally built strength enough for her to say goodbye. “I was only with you because you were a good man, I didn’t really like you, I struggled to kiss and be intimate with you. I finally found the courage to walk.” Damage as such can never be repaired, forgotten nor forgiven. It broke me in pieces that can never be put back together in the same way again. I waited almost a lifetime to find whom I thought was the one in my dreams with eyes open. We were engaged had plans of a family. You have no idea how devastating this is to a kind caring man who put and gave all thinking the outcome would be us living the life we always talked about.

Honestly this is true. I went no contact with my BM for 2 weeks, came back and she was already with the next guy. She saw some emojis in my phone & has been going crazy thinking I’m with another woman - mind you she’s IN a relationship. Now everything w/her is complicated with our child, she won’t give up the thoughts of me with another female..meanwhile after 7 years I can’t cope even being touched by another person

He said things, yet he still keeps me on TikTok, WhatsApp, and SMS even though he said we should move on. It’s not me who wants to move on, but him; I just don’t know why he gave up so quickly. If he really loved me and all that, he would have fought to make it work
