Finally tried the viral ice cream croissant trend, but this one pan lazy lasagna might just be my new obsession! It’s easy, cozy, packed with protein, FULL of flavour and perfect for meal prep. Save this recipe because you’re going to want to make it! 📌👇🏼 🛒 INGREDIENTS • 4 tbsp olive oil • 1 onion, finely diced • 2 tsp minced garlic • 500g lean beef mince • Salt to taste • 1 tsp crushed chillies • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp cumin powder • 1 tsp sugar • 1 bottle pasta sauce (or homemade) • ½ cup ricotta • ½ cup white sauce • Italian herbs • 200g lasagna sheets • 1 cup grated cheese 👩🏽‍🍳 METHOD Heat olive oil in a large, heavy-based pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic, salt and pepper and cook for another 2 minutes until softened. Turn the heat up and add the beef mince. Cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it apart until browned. Add crushed chillies, black pepper, paprika, cumin and sugar. Pour in the pasta sauce and mix well. Add in whole or break/tear the lasagna sheets into smaller pieces and add them straight into the sauce. Using tongs, gently submerge and spread them around as evenly as possible, it doesn’t need to be perfect! Cover with a lid and cook on the lowest heat for around 20min. Check with a fork the pasta should pierce easily. Add in the ricotta and white sauce, then top with grated cheese and Italian herbs.
