training to be spider women🕸️🤸‍♀️ super fatigued post 44hr week of unpaid physio placement + shift at the physio clinic🫨 oxyshred pink lemonade + creatine + banana is the ultimate combo to fuel me through this shoulder stability + mobility day :) the glenohumeral (shoulder) joint is a ball & socket joint = highly mobile at the cost of reduced stability if it isn’t properly looked after! The scapulothoracic joint is the articulation between the scapula (shoulder blade) & the ribcage. Together, they coordinate movement in a 2:1 ratio known as scapulohumeral rhythm to give the shoulder its full range of motion. my joints need some TLC because I’m still chicken winging my muscle ups🙃 it’s good to step down to determine what mobility & strength imbalances I have to prevent injury! Hence why I trained the joint isometrically, dynamically, altering between slow & fast twitch fibres, through rotation and anterior/posterior/lateral loading. I really enjoy days like this as I’m still moving & listening to my body, adapting to my fatigue levels, thinking biomechanically & trialling new exercises :) outfit is @Oner Active dc TAKARA❤️ @ehplabs #oxyshred
