Just to add to the already helpful advice, please don’t let how you got on in S5 impact you. Highers are hard and a jump from Nat 5, so please give yourself grace BUT REVISE AND ASK FOR HELP. I went from a C at Higher modern (crashed it) to a B at advanced higher (how my school actually let me take it… I still don’t know) the whole year my adv H teacher was subtly tryna tell me he thinks I will fail, in the beginning he flat out told me I should just do higher again but I needed adv h for Glasgow. I didn’t get into Glasgow but I proved him wrong lol. My point is, a lot can change in a year, (but this could also go the other way, so don’t get too arrogant) Don’t stop the grind, and ask for help. If we knew everything we wouldn’t need school. Good luck new S6’s and please enjoy it 🥹
