steam is a social gaming platform. not a game store like epic. the sense for community between gamers on every game is something no other company did.

agree with that but also they have competition on pc Gog games epic and more so with PC you have options to keep them more so honest

people don't know this but you can actually download games you don't own from steam and put it on a physical medium. I even played phantom liberty even tho I only own the base game
