Yeah… it’s probably more cost effective to demo and rebuild…. 😏 And we complain about CEO salaries. This just seems like such a waste. Yeah, it’s an older building but think about the classic structures all over the country that were built 100+ years ago.

My brother is a union plumber and worked on it when it was being constructed and back then Preston was like a country road. His car was not working so I had to get up early and give him a ride since I worked off LBJ and Midway. He would have to wait for me until I got off work to pick him up. I remember him telling me about how amazing the construction was. Years later I had business with EDS and would have meetings there. A shame it was a nice building.

why wouldn't they just use the building? I never get this. has to be cheaper and more cost effective to renovate and update. but i dooo like a good implosion.
