The delegation had been sent by the King, in accordance with tradition, to invite the Ga communities in the Eastern Region to this year’s Homowo Festival. However, they were allegedly attacked by some individuals from Chwinto . Papase and Nsumia are among several Ga towns located in Ghana’s Eastern Region that traditionally owe allegiance to the Ga Mantse.
