@talhaghannam: The Secret Behind Allahu Akbar [74:03] Allahu Akbar. You say it every day, in the adhan, in salah, and when you're overjoyed. But do you know the verse where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala first commanded it? And do you know the miracle hidden inside its letters? It's in Suratul Muddaththir among the first verses revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He had come home, trembling, asking to be wrapped in a cloak. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala called him to his mission. Ya ayyuhal muddaththir, qum fa-andhir, wa rabbaka, fa-kabbir. Oh you wrapped in the cloak, arise and warn, and your Lord magnify Him. Allahu Akbar. Now focus on the last command, rabbaka fa-kabbir. There's a miracle hiding inside it, a ring structure. Let me show you. Spell the sentence from the beginning. Ra ba kaf, fa, kaf ba ra. Now read it the other way. Ra ba kaf, fa kaf ba ra. Whichever way you read it, you get the same sentence, rabbaka fa-kabbir. It's a perfect ring structure, a palindrome, reading the same way whichever direction you read it. The ring structure is one of the miracles of the Quran found across surahs and passages throughout. But this one is one of the few places where even the letters form a mirror. So why here? Because it reveals a secret behind one of the most repeated phrases Muslims say. First the verse is a mirror, beginning the same way that it ends. You start with Him, you end with Him. Remember Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when you open something, and remember Him when you close it, and let it be the same in every circumstance. In between, break down the letters of the sentence going forwards. Ra ba kaf, fa, kaf ba ra. Now read it backwards. Ra ba kaf, fa kaf ba ra. Whichever way you read it, you get the same sentence, rabbaka fa-kabbir. It's a perfect ring structure, a palindrome, reading the same way whichever way you read it. Number two. Many people translate Allahu Akbar as God is the greatest. It actually translates as God is greater. A sentence that is deliberately left incomplete. Greater than what? Why leave it open? Because it's meant to pull you back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala from whatever you're doing in that moment. Thinking about work, God is greater. Family got you down, God is greater. Allahu Akbar means Allah is greater, greater than whatever is in front of you right now. Now go back to this verse. The kaf in rabbaka is you, your Lord. You sit at the end of the word. You land on yourself after beginning with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So immediately after, it brings you back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And because of the palindrome, whichever way you read it, you always end up back with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, capturing the true meaning of Allahu Akbar. Number three. At the exact center of it all sits the fa, the letter of consequence. Fa in Arabic means therefore, so, or it follows. So in this verse, whichever side you approach it from, you pass through this fa, therefore, and you realize whatever angle you look at Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, you will always end up praising Him. Allahu Akbar. So whichever way your life is reading right now, forwards or backwards, let it land on the same center. Allahu Akbar Allah is greater. #AllahuAkbar #AllahIsGreater #QuranMiracle #SurahMuddathir #RabbakaFaKabbir
