@daily.network.new: Most people see a rainbow already formed. This video captured the exact moment one was born. Slowly emerging over the ocean - storm clouds dark and heavy behind it — sunlight breaking through at precisely the right angle - And color appearing in the sky as if someone was painting it in real time. But here's what's actually happening in those seconds: When sunlight hits water droplets suspended in the air - each tiny droplet acts like a miniature prism. The light enters. Bends — refraction. Reflects inside the droplet. And splits into the seven colors of the visible spectrum - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet - each one emerging at a slightly different angle. The secret of this particular video? The contrast. Dark, rain-heavy sky behind. Sharp sunlight cutting through the clouds at exactly the right moment. That combination is what makes the colors appear so intensely - seemingly from nothing — as if the rainbow is being drawn across the sky in real time. And here's the detail that will change how you see every rainbow forever: To see one — the sun must be behind you and the rain in front. And even more extraordinary: Every single person sees their own individual rainbow - because the arc you perceive depends entirely on the precise angle of your own eyes relative to the light and the droplets. You never see the same rainbow as the person standing next to you. Every rainbow that has ever existed - existed for one pair of eyes at a time.
