I don't believe that they get anything from us.At all. but I am sure that it is a prison planet, firstly, because we are immortal, spiritual beings all sentient beings are. i have left my body as well. if you're sentient, it's impossible for you not to be firstly an immortal spiritual being, but how did we get our memories wipes then, obviously sophisticated technology, billions of volts of electricity, and typnotic commands to forget to remember anything and to inhabit a flesh body. if you want proof that you aren't a flesh body, go have an out of body experience takes a while, but eventually you'll have one, and you'll realize that you can think operate, travel, communicate completely out of your body, you can look back at your body. Why is gold so valuable? Because we don’t have it! Emotions would be extremely valuable to beings that do not have them. Because once they master emotions, these farms of energy can be manipulated in any way they like!! On a lower level they can master manipulation person to person. But on a higher level once they can master and manipulate the emotions large collective bodies they can steer larger industries such as music, politics, Hollywood. Positioning themselves in various positions of power and influence around the globe.
