@organizedchaos4: This video is for my 16 year old follower that will soon be forced to move out on her own. Sweet girl, I’ll be your mom for a few minutes and explain the basics of how to care for a home. When you’re just starting out you don’t need to have a grasp of everything, just a few basics. And you are NOT pathetic for asking, I know people in their 70’s learning from my advice. Heck I was 30 before I started to get things figured out so don’t let your age deter you. 1. You do need a cleaning schedule. Don’t freak out. Just use mine. It’s called the 6/10 list. You’re only going to focus on the top part that’s the Daily 6. (Make your bed, wash dishes, scrub your sink, wipe your counters down, laundry is on my daily 6 but if you’re living alone, chances are you don’t need to do laundry daily maybe like every 2-3 days. Don’t worry about doing laundry perfect. Heck, I don’t sort colors or type of item. I just toss it all in and use a regular laundry detergent pod. Last on the list is vacuum) Now you need to clean your bathroom at least weekly. I have a 5 minute bathroom clean routine on my page so go watch that. 2. Okay for cooking, You do not need to become a gourmet chef overnight. Cooking for yourself is just about mastering 3-5 simple, repeatable meals that use basic ingredients and take almost no effort. Learn how to make one good sheet-pan meal (like roasted chicken, veggies, and potatoes), one basic pasta dish, a simple ground meat or taco night. Rotate those same few meals every week. It eliminates meal-planning stress and keeps your grocery budget completely predictable. 3. Limit what you own so there’s less to maintain. The secret to a low-maintenance home isn't spending hours cleaning—it’s keeping your physical inventory low. 4. And finally use my Basket Method throughout the week. I have a video on my page about that too! Building independence is scary, but you are so much more capable than you realize right now. Take it one simple system at a time. You've got this and I’ll be here every step of the way. ❤️ #homemaking #cleaning #mom #Home #cooking

Hi, so I’m 36 but I was that girl. 17 and pregnant and kicked out to figure out life on my own. I wish I had found you 18 years ago, but here I am today and excited to start learning with you.

Don't know anything about this but sending prayers on your behalf and as a mom, sending love that you deserve! You stay close to "real" moms who will love and nurture you, be there for you, encourage you and lovingly guide you. You will be get thru this and have a wonderful life, and be better.

I hope that 16 year old reaches out to her guidance counselor bc legally her parents are required to take care of her & if they’re trying to force her into marriage then the social worker will place her elsewhere. It will at least give her services until she’s 18
