Most frenchies, pugs, bulldogs, and boston terriers usually hate vacuums, blow dryers, leaf blowers, etc. Its very common among those dog breeds but if your dog does not listen to you when you tell him to let go then you need training

Hi, my dog pulls during walks, and has pulled me over more than once. i’m looking for a leash/collar that would be safe for me and my dog. i get mixed messages every time i research, and im not sure what sources are reliable ones. do you have any recommendations?

He's obviously sick of the insufferable, ubiquitous leaf blowers.

I say fear based reactivity. The loud noise, fast movement, and blowing air trigger a natural fight-or-flight response that the dog tries to control by "killing" the scary object.

If your dog ever bites on something and refuses to let it go hold its nose close. Mouth would instinctively open up to breathe giving you an opportunity to grab the item/take your arm away
