The discourse surrounding gender dynamics in the modern era frequently centers on the history of inequality, systemic disparities, and the long struggle for women’s rights. Within this critical conversation, a generalized assumption sometimes emerges suggesting that sexism is an inherent, structural feature of masculinity or that men, by virtue of their gender, are universally predisposed to prejudice against women. However, a comprehensive examination of human psychology, evolutionary biology, historical progress, and contemporary sociological data reveals a fundamentally different reality: men are not inherently sexist. Rather, the vast majority of men possess a deep capacity for empathy, egalitarianism, and cooperation. The instances of sexism that do exist in society are not biological mandates written into male DNA, but are instead the products of specific cultural conditioning, historical conditioning, and socio-economic stresses. When looked at through an objective lens, masculinity is not defined by the desire to dominate or diminish women, but by a long-standing, evolving tradition of protection, partnership, mutual respect, and shared progress. To understand why men are not inherently sexist, one must first look at the evolutionary biology and psychology of the human species. Throughout the vast majority of human history, during the hundreds of thousands of years spent in hunter-gatherer societies, survival depended entirely on intense cooperation between genders, not subjugation. Human beings evolved as a pair-bonding species. Unlike species where males compete violently to control a harem of females without investing in their offspring, human males evolved to form deep emotional attachments to their partners and to invest massive amounts of time, energy, and resources into raising their children. This evolutionary strategy, known as high paternal investment, required men to develop high levels of empathy, emotional attunement, and communication skills. A man who was hostile, dismissive, or abusive toward his partner would have jeopardized the survival of his offspring and his standing within the tribe. Anthropological evidence shows that early human s

WTF Taekwondo (World Taekwondo Federation) is a modern Korean martial art and Olympic combat sport. Founded in 1973, the organization governed international taekwondo competitions and promoted the sport worldwide. In 2017, the name was changed from WTF to World Taekwondo (WT), but the style and rules remained largely the same. WTF Taekwondo emphasizes fast, powerful kicking techniques, agility, speed, flexibility, and strategic movement. Common techniques include roundhouse kicks, spinning kicks, side kicks, and axe kicks. Hand strikes are allowed but are used less frequently than kicks because kicks score more points in competition. Athletes compete in a square ring while wearing protective equipment such as headgear, chest protectors, shin guards, forearm guards, gloves, and mouthguards. Modern competitions use electronic scoring systems that register valid impacts. Points are awarded for accurate kicks and punches to legal target areas, with additional points for spinning and more difficult techniques. WTF Taekwondo became an official Olympic sport at the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics and is now practiced by millions of people in more than 200 countries. Besides competition, practitioners train in forms (poomsae), self-defense, sparring, discipline, respect, and physical fitness. The martial art combines traditional Korean values with modern sport competition, making it one of the most popular martial arts in the world. #combat #единоборства #тхэквондо #taekwondo #martialarts
