@healthwithnyrah: PHARMACIST GUIDE TO AZELAIC ACID 👇 Which azelaic acid should YOU be using? 👀👇 Azelaic acid is one of my favourite multi-tasking skincare ingredients for acne, redness, post-acne marks and uneven pigmentation — but you don’t necessarily need to jump straight to the strongest percentage! ✨ BEGINNER — 10% The Ordinary 10% / Anua 10+ Best for: mild breakouts, post-acne marks, uneven skin tone and introducing azelaic acid into your routine. 🔥 INTERMEDIATE — 15% Finacea 15% / Dermatica 15% Often used when targeting acne, rosacea-related redness and persistent marks. Finacea is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. 🏆 ADVANCED — 20% Skinoren 20% A prescription-strength option in the UK, commonly used for acne and can also help improve the pigmentation left behind after spots. HOW TO USE: Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin, followed by moisturiser. If you’re new to it, start a few times a week and increase as tolerated. It can be used morning or evening — and always wear SPF 30–50 in the daytime ☀️ 💡 Higher % doesn’t automatically mean better. Choose the formulation and strength that suits your skin concern and tolerance. Save this AZELAIC ACID GUIDE for later 🤍 #AzelaicAcid #AcneSkincare #Hyperpigmentation #SkincareRoutine #PharmacistTips
