THIS because we have a prof rn that is so strict to the point na he's really gonna announce beforehand na we should be prepared na nd have a backup plans for like may power interruption all of a sudden or mahina signal ng wifi/data because once he called u and you weren't able to answer, automatic absent or kick out of the meeting. and worse, on cam all throughout the class and you're not supposed to leave your sit, kailangan bawat alis at galaw you'll inform him. bawal daw "excuses" sa kaniya, ik-kick ka rin non sa meet if hindi nasunod gusto niya. kaya parang nasa fight or flight mode section namin kapag may online class sa prof na yan 😞

sometimes they make it optional for students to attend but it comes with a disadvantage which is maghahabol ng lessons lol

Very agree. Imagine if lubog na yung buong bahay niyo—how can you still focus on studying when your main concern is keeping yourself and your family safe? If classes are suspended because of flooding, having online classes defeats the purpose of the suspension since not everyone has a safe place, electricity, internet connection, or even the peace of mind to attend!

I am a private school teacher now and I have the same sentiments. Like, pwede bang kapag suspended ang class, literal na wala munang pasok?? kasi hindi naman lahat may access to internet. If may tasks man na gagawin, lighter tasks lang. Kasi kaya nga suspended ang class kasi may bagyo at may mga apektado 'di ba?? 😭 (isa na rin me do'n kasi tabing dagat at malakas ang alon)

yung lubog na nga ung iba sa baha. imbis na intindihin nalang ng mga students ang sarili nila, sasabay pa sa iisipin nila kung pano sila makaka-attend ng online classes & magsubmit ng mga assignments 🥲🥲

it's so ironic diba? ung tipong kasama naman sa announcement na asynchronous ung private schools but ipupush through ung synchronous while it's heavily raining, and some even require to open cameras. Hindi naman lahat pare pareho ng situation. ang ironic lang we're told to stay safe pero magdedemand na sumunod sa gusto nila.

tapos kada holiday or smh adm parin, hindi ba dapat rest day na rin. itz so stressful kasi imbis na mag pahinga, mga activities ang iniisip.

Nagstart yan because of the pandemic. Nakita kasi nila na pwede naman pala icontinue ang klase kahit na walang face to face. Another reason to blame COVID/Pandemic🙁
