This is why you must remember to only let people in who you see with love and respect. We heal once we're away from them. In order to heal, you must focus on yourself. My STBX is a narc, I spoke up about my abuse and he called me a liar and spent hours upon hours creaming at me for ruining his reputation. Even though I miss the "good" parts (which were fake), I am glad to have stopped exposing myself to his multiple forms of abuse... I've had series of Infidelity conflicts with my STBX. sometimes he beats me when I don't agree with his terms, we have been married for about 8yrs now. He would say he wanted to rebuild trust and workon us, but when it came down to it he still disrespected me and our marriage. We went to counseling and through an intensive six-month program. I thought were ina good spot but he continued to lie to me about other issues. I finally hired a lawyer and l'm currently processing a divorce with the help of the cheating evidence I got.
