I'm always going to cons alone, it sucks, I just don't want to be that person that's like, trying to be friends with young cosplayers, that's just creepy, but everyone kinda looks young in cosplay so, I just don't say anything

my best advice for everyone is that you’ll regret NOT talking to someone more than talking to someone and nothing happening! compliment someone’s cosplay, ask them for a photo or their socials! make the most of the con environment, many people find it a bit easier to come out of their shells when everyone’s in cosplay! 🩷

real, i only go to cons when people i know i can spend the day with are there the first time i went to a con alone to meet my online friends i was lowk just sitting on the floor alone and i was so nervous until i found them. idk how ppl do it

I feel this as mcm birm was my first comic con (and first time cosplaying!) but omg trust me when I say if you just walk up to people and ask for a photo/start a convo you’ll be happy you did. Everyone I did meet was so sweet and I hope next time I am less shy, talk more in depth and grab socials! I was told there were meet ups for things too which I will defo look out for next time
