if that's bacon grease, that liquid gold right there....pour it over a paper towel into a jar and let it cool, then you can use to cook. Just use a a little bit in a pan and it gives your food a hint of a bacon flavor

Just wait till the oil is cold then scrape it into an old soda cup. If you don’t have that, then scrape that cold goop in the garbage.

Save your expensive foil from landfill. I keep a clean can under my sink. Pop it on the counter, let the grease get cold & toss it in the trash. If it stays liquid, toss in a paper towel to soak it up.

Does no one keep a bacon grease jar in their fridge anymore? This was a staple in Western PA when I grew up. How else are you going to make home fries, hash browns, fried eggs?
