Sift the powdered sugar and salt together in a bowl then add it to the bowl of your KitchenAid mixer 2. Add the water, lemon juice, and vanilla extract with the dry ingredients to your KitchenAid mixer bowl. 3. Mix on low until the ingredients begin to come together, then increase the speed and whip until the frosting is light, smooth, and fluffy. 4. Use a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop to portion the frosting onto each cinnamon roll. 5. Use a small spatula to gently spread and smooth the frosting over the top of each roll.
