1.alexandria literally never had that Great fire(well it did destroy some of the library but not all). 2.the information was lost because papyrus physically rots away within 10 years and the people would have to keep rewriting all of them. 3.it contained mostly traditions(Greek, Egyptian and Persian),not actually entire civilizations. 4.it was mainly copies. 5.budget cuts also affected it(ok this might be something but still,3 disproves it.
