Raha :
It hurts so deeply to admit it, but my dream of becoming a professional footballer is officially over. I am 19 years old now, and the realization that my time has passed tears me apart from the inside. Looking back, what breaks my heart the most is that no one in my family ever took an interest in what I loved. My parents were always overwhelmed with work, completely consumed by their daily struggles, and they just never had the time to care about my passion. I was left alone with a fire in my heart that nobody helped me keep alive.
I wanted to go to some academy on my own so that some agent in Kazakhstan would notice me and send me to Europe that way but because of my country where football is not promoted it became impossible just like money at that time, we had very little money and it feels like I was just born with the wrong dream in the wrong place... how badly I wanted to become a footballer.
I didn't just want to play football; I lived for it. I used to close my eyes and imagine what it would feel like to step onto the pitch at the Camp Nou, to score my very first professional goal, to play in grand finals, lift trophies, and hear tens of thousands of fans chanting my name at the top of their lungs. That dream was my sanctuary.
Now, at 19, the cold reality sets in. In the world of modern football, age is merciless, and I missed my chance before I even had a real opportunity to try. Instead of living my dream, I am forced to move on, get a regular job, and carry this quiet, heavy pain with me every day. The hardest part isn't giving up on the game; it’s accepting that the child inside me who just wanted to be seen, supported, and loved for his passion will never get to see that miracle happen.
