Electrician here. You did everything correctly! My only tip is the strip gauge on back of plus is designed for back stabbing only. When doing the loop method, the wire needs to be stripped more so insulation doesn’t touch the screws as it can be a violation. I always do 1.5 times the gauge length for looping. Other than that, perfect!

dumb question but why is there two silvers and two brass's ik its because there's one for the top and bottom outlet but if their already tired together why nkt get ride of the extra one completely

My dad told me a while ago that when black people get their grills (as in jewelry for your teeth) they get gold and when white people get grills they get silver and that’s how him and i remember which wire goes where

DO NOT USE THE PLUGS IN THE BACK. I have seen so many outlets burnt out cause they jam the wire in the back of the outlet. Just take the time to make the hooks and screw em down.
