I have had the experience many times as a carers but I don't bothered or take it too serious,I always see them as a vulnerable person that needs cares,A professional carer needs to be patient because this is what we are trained for

I once worked with elderly people and there was this German man the husband to the client I looked after, he absolutely hated me, he would inform me that there was cameras in her room he was watching me, if I turned a even a second late, he would yell but when the other's who were white came 10 minutes late he didn't say anything. so oneday I had enough and I quit my job. he rang the agency and whined about why I had quit, I don't know maybe he thought he owned me lol. I met him in a store and walked past him like I'd never seen him before. if you work in care never tolerate poor or racist treatment. value yourself.

this made me cry because I'm also a victim and when I reported to the office instead of the management do something to help me or ask if I was okay I found myself in the police station for false accusations because of poor management 😭😭 it's been two years but the wound is still fresh😒😒

I experienced that all the time, but compassion and empathy, through the grace of God. I compliment the white carer, telling her I'm not able to get you up by myself. Camsie is right she needs care. Even their own colour will left them to smell.

I have worked in care homes and worked with some lovely people and black people and they are also as caring as any person, shouldn’t judge people of the colour of their skin 🥰
